State and Local Government Relations

The methods for procurement from the Government range from informal purchases, competitive bidding, submission of proposals and invitations to negotiate. RZW offers counsel to help identify the elements of risk and responsibility for a proposed governmental sale or service opportunity, including review and analysis of proposed government contracts and assistance with negotiating contract terms.

Generally speaking, we seek to assist private clients with identifying opportunities to negotiate favorable contract terms with governmental agencies and to better understand public contracting requirements so as to improve our clients’ competitive position.

We also represent clients before governmental administrative boards and commissions on various matters, including bid protests and licensing issues.
