James E. Krause
Jim Krause practices construction law, with an emphasis on federal contracting and procurement. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jim had extensive experience in the construction industry, ranging from architecture to general construction. Jim’s clients benefit from his extensive real world experience as a former General Contractor and designer,in the construction industry. Mr. Krause moved to Jacksonville after 4 years in Washington D.C. as the Senior Director of the Federal & Heavy Construction Division at the AGC, where he was the primary liaison to the Federal construction agencies such as the Corps of Engineers, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, the Veterans Administration, and the General Services Administration. As an aggressive advocate on Federal contract issues for the construction industry, Mr. Krause has also testified before most Federal agencies and the Federal Acquisition Regulations Council in support of industry rights. Jim is also a Florida certified general contractor and a board member of the Associated General Contractors of Greater Florida.
